Planning a wedding is difficult enough and getting the right entertainment is just as difficult, help is at hand. Entertainment can be the key from the start of your reception when your guests are arriving back from the church, so why not impress them? These are some of the most popular choices.

Harpist

The tradition of invitation a harpist to enhance a celebration is over a thousand years old. The harp adds a warm sensual sound, effortlessly creating a relaxed atmosphere in which conversation can flourish. Having a harp at your wedding is a very stylish and a good choice.

String Quartet

Why not start your reception with music playing from a string quartet, add elegance and style, let our Popular Classical Quartet evoke the grandeur of the Baroque period by playing the music of Bach and Handel, or maybe that elegant music of Haydn and Mozart that was created to amuse the aristocracy. Our Quartets will dress for special occasions in tails, dinner jackets, white tuxedos or smart casual. 18th century costumes are also available if your theme is the Georgian period.

Jazz

Jazz bands are a cool way to start off your wedding. Lively and upbeat or laid back and stylish, these extremely versatile bands can perform as a duo, trio quartet or a full band providing music whilst you enjoy a drink, or whilst you are dining, or if you would prefer why not let them entertain you in the evening?

Pianist

You could also have piano playing in the background, a nice touch. Our Pianists offer a wide repertoire ranging from jazz to classical, or boogie woogie to pop, and can also be accompanied by a vocalist if you so wish.

Piper

You may want a piper to lead you into the church, or to greet your guest a as they arrive for the reception, or you may want them to play at your civil wedding, all subject to permission. A piper will add a lovely Celtic feel and your guests will be very impressed. It’s something that they will remember weeks after your wedding.

Enjoy the warmth of a classical piece and put your guests at ease, they’ll relax as they listen to that peaceful, warm inviting sound, they’ll be ready to soak up the atmosphere of the occasion. You can arrange for your classical music to be played whilst having drinks, during the meal or you may want them to play during a civil or church ceremony, subject to permission. We offer a wide range of classical solo, duos, and trios, including Viola/Guitar Cello, Clarinet and Violin, Flute and Piano, Classical Vocalist and many more.

A classical guitar playing in the background whilst your guest are arriving will add a nice flavour to your reception, you can choose from a selection of classical pieces from around the world. We also offer jazz guitarists with sax or keyboard accompaniment, or if you prefer choose a vocalist to create that mellow ambiance.
